Orangery Care Home
Assisted Living
We provide Assisted Living services that are all about treating each and every resident as an individual. By understanding our residents’ needs, preserving dignity and respecting independence, we help to create a real sense of home.
Long Stay residence
We provide accommodation, meals and 24-hour personal care for those who find it increasingly difficult to cope at home without assistance. Our care home has a range of facilities designed to give you security, independence and the very best in residential care.
Short stay and respite care
Short care breaks, also known as respite, allow carers the time to recharge their batteries while offering their loved ones the reassurance of 24-hour care. We provide round the clock care in a safe, comfortable environment, whether it’s justfor two or up to six weeks.
Sometimes, you just need some time to relax and take it easy. Maybe you’re getting over an illness or an operation. Or perhaps your home carers simply need a break while they recharge their batteries.
Dementia care
At Orangery Care we are dedicated, specialised dementia care area that is devoted entirely to residents who are living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Our team is trained to value each individual and to recognise their different preferences and needs. The Nightingale Wing specialises in care for dementia and mental health problems for older adults. All staff receive training in caring for dementia associated behaviour. We are supported by an external team of dementia care specialists who also provide independent dementia specific training.
Challenging behaviour facilities
We provide specialist care to stimulate and engage adult residents with reduced ability to understand and cope independently. We aim to give them a safe, comfortable and near independent life by providing nursing care when they need it.
Nursing care
All residential nursing care is based on an individual assessment of needs. This results in an Individualised Service Plan of care (ISP), which is constantly monitored and – where necessary – adapted to meet the changing needs of each individual.
Personalised Food Diets
At Orangery Care Home, we prepare all meals in our own kitchens each and every day. Just as importantly, we can meet the specific nutritional requirements of residents who have special dietary needs such as diabetics or those living with high cholesterol. Vegetarian or special diets are catered for.
We have been awarded 5 star rating by Rushmoor Borough Council Environmental Health.
Dedicated Doctor
Our care is person centred. That means we spend time building strong relationships with our residents. So providing a dedicated doctor for our residents is crucial to keeping them safe, reassured and comfortable.
