Zyrieda Denning

MBBS FRCS FFAEM, DIRECTOR

Zyrieda is a qualified medical Doctor with many years past experience in the NHS. Having recognised the need for high quality, professional care and nursing for the elderly, she opened her first nursing home in April 2000. Zyrieda ensures a high quality of care in all her homes whilst providing comfortable homely decor, to provide a nursing home that is their home. Zyrieda has written and published a book about 5-a-day nutrition and is very keen to ensure delicious healthy meals, with choice and diversity.

Swarup Khadka

ADMINISTRATOR / REGIONAL MANAGER

Swarup joined our care homes in 2010 and has a vast experience as business manager. He has Level 5 ICQ leadership and management and NVQ 5 in management and leadership as well as higher level apprenticeship in management and leadership. He has recently been promoted to Responsible Individual with Cqc and business regional manager across all 3 of our care homes.

Staff shall use and develop their knowledge and skills to improve our residents’ well being, quality of life and give comfort to all.
It is our intent to be aware of each person’s holistic, emotional and spiritual needs and to make each feel secure and cherished.
We aim to see beyond the ailing body or mind, to the unique humanity, which we all share.

Karen Mirando

REGISTERED NURSE, DEPUTY MANAGER

Karen is a Registered Nurse with long experience working in NHS and Adult Social Care, previous experience of working as Registered Nurse, Clinical Team Lead Nurse.

Dafinka Aleksandrova

REGISTERED MANAGER

Dafinka is a Registered Manager with nursing background and a broad knowledge and experience from NHS and Adult Social Care. Dafinka was appointed Registered Home Manager in 2016, having had many years experience as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager. She has excellent nursing and managerial skills, and is very well liked and respected by residents, staff and other healthcare professionals. She works tirelessly to ensure the highest standards of care, recruitment and training are maintained for Orangery Care Home.

Aruna Gurung

SENIOR NURSE

Working at Orangery Care Home since 2008. Aruna is someone who loves her job and gets lots of enjoyment helping the residents and it shows in her personality. Aruna is highly respected by her colleagues.

Violina Uzunova

CLINICAL TEAM LEAD NURSE

Experience with NHS, Adult Social Care. Violina leads the nursing team with very approachable attitude. Excellent rapport with families and outside agencies.

Tony Zimmer

PREMISES MANAGER

Tony has worked at Orangery Care Home since 2000 and ensures the building is well maintained and decorated. He is the driver of the minibus and regularly assists the care staff with residents outings.

Margaret Beasley

RECEPTIONIST

Margaret has worked at Orangery Care Home since 2000. Margaret makes sure that the residents are booked for hair dressers and chiropodists.

Nita Gurung

ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

Nita became a member of our home in 2013 and assumed the role of activity coordinator in 2018. Since then, she has diligently dedicated herself to her role and has won the admiration of both residents and visitors. She is known for being friendly, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Bhartee Udhin

ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

Bhartee brings with her 13 years of experience as an activity coordinator, and we were fortunate to welcome her to our home in late 2020. Since then, she has proven to be an invaluable member of our team, contributing her expertise and skills to enhance the lives of our residents.

Robert Obag

HEAD CHEF

With over three decades of experience as a chef in both the UK and a well know restaurant in Barcelona, Roberto has gained a reputation for his exceptional Mediterranean and English cuisine. He is highly approachable and always willing to have conversations with residents regarding their culinary preferences and choices.
